KATHARINE MCDONOUGH is a singer and actress best known for her work as Evelyn Nesbit in RAGTIME (Pasadena Playhouse), Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady and Mary in Mary Poppins (Musical Theatre West), as well as Elsa in FROZEN: Live at the Hyperion at Disneyland. A Southern California native, Katharine studied Theatre and Vocal Performance at Pepperdine University.

Katharine is also the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Contempo Productions, a Los Angeles non-profit theatre company specializing in the formation and production of new works, as well as contemporary classics, including a staged reading of Bubble Boy: The Musical at the Colony Theatre. With Contempo Productions, Katharine recently produced and directed an intimate 9-person blackbox restaging of Wildhorn’s The Scarlet Pimpernel at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, with a remounting at the Chromolume Theatre. Upcoming Contempo productions will include a workshop of Katharine’s song cycle Everyday Unromance. Listen to demos below!
